Although his decision to become a dentist was not because of some lifelong pursuit from an early age, he did have a family friend who became a dental mentor, encouraging Dr. Milner to enter the field. After shadowing various dental offices, he decided it was the perfect career path.
While at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry earning his dental degree, he completed an externship at Kernan Hospital at the University of Maryland. There, his focus was on pediatric dentistry. He then went on to work with geriatric patients at Levindale Hospital before spending six years as an associated dentist.
Undergoing many different trainings throughout his career, he has developed skills and experience in dental sleep medicine and sleep apnea treatment. He has also earned fellowship with Implant Pathway and is a certified provider for Invisalign.
Outside the dental office, you’ll often find Dr. Milner with his wife and their four children – Judah, Kyra, Maya, and Zachy. He enjoys watching and playing sports of all kinds but especially enjoys cheering for the Redskins, Orioles, Capitals, Wizards, and Terps.
With more than 40 years of experience practicing dentistry, Dr. Miller is pleased to be a dentist near Garrison who maintains a passion for the field and enjoys taking care of her many patients.
Early on in her life, she babysat for a dentist and began to learn more about the profession. Intrigued by the kind of work, she asked many questions and eventually discovered that it would be the ideal career choice.
Dr. Miller attended the University of Maryland to earn her bachelor's degree in dental hygiene before enrolling in their College of Dental Surgery to earn her dental degree. Since then, she has continued to pursue educational opportunities and remains a member of the American Dental Association and the Maryland Dental Association.
Married to her husband Steven, they spend much of their time with their three grown children and three beautiful grandchildren. You’ll also find her playing tennis, reading, singing in a local choir, and traveling as often as she can.
Dr. Milner has invested in the best and most advanced technology, a tribute to his commitment to quality care. His office is clean and organized and everyone provides excellent customer service and expertise. I will be referring my mom and other loved ones to his office.
